JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
The Physician (Business Partner) is responsible for providing comprehensive medical consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and management of adult patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions. The Physician will provide outpatient specialist services while practicing independently through the medical centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical consultations and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment and management plans.
- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment outcomes.
- Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
- Refer patients to other specialists when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
- Provide health education and preventive care counseling.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB/MBBS) or equivalent.
- Postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine or related specialty.
- Valid practicing license.
- Registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC).
- Actively practicing as a Physician.
