JOB DETAILS:

Job Title: Pre-school Teacher

Location: Uganda

Job Type: Full- time

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Programme (EYP)-Pre-School Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will introduce young learners to the French language through an inquiry-based, play-centered approach that aligns with the Early Years Programme (EYP) philosophy. They will create a nurturing and immersive learning environment that fosters language acquisition, creativity, and holistic child development in a diverse international school setting.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, French, or a related field.
• Certification: Teaching certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in an Early Years Programme (EYP) setting.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong understanding of early childhood development and language acquisition.
• Experience with EYP teaching methodologies, including play-based, sensory-rich, and child-led learning.
• Fluency in spoken French
• Ability to create an inclusive, nurturing, and culturally responsive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working in a collaborative, multicultural setting.
• Passionate, patient, and adaptable, with a deep understanding of young learners’ needs.
