JOB DETAILS:
Background:
WWF Uganda is implementing a project focused on forest restoration and carbon absorption in the Albertine Rift region.
Responsibilities:
- Manage forest restoration programs and resources
- Engage with stakeholders on carbon emissions programs
- Support forest management and regeneration initiatives
- Develop business cases for nature-based enterprises
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry, Environmental Studies, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in forestry management or conservation
- Experience with forest carbon projects and CCB/VCS standards
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: bachelor degree
