Description

Media Challenge Initiative is hiring a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. In this role, you will create a welcoming environment for visitors and callers while supporting the day-to-day operations of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, clients, and staff in a warm and professional manner
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and emails
  • Manage the front desk area and maintain a tidy, presentable reception space
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges in accordance with security procedures
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
  • Liaise with internal departments to relay messages and coordinate requests
  • Order and manage office supplies inventory
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer-facing role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

Preferred:

  • Experience with scheduling software or CRM platforms
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
