ENGAGEMENT OF A LOCAL CONSULTANT FOR COSTING OF THE UGANDA MULTISECTORAL STRATEGY FOR PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES.

The World Health Organization (WHO) Uganda is in the process of recruiting individual consultant to produce a detailed, credible, and policy relevant cost estimates of the Uganda NCD Multisectoral Strategy to support implementation, financing, and monitoring of NCD prevention and control in Uganda.

• Required Qualifications and Experience

Essential Education requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or higher) in health economics, public health, health policy, economics, or a related field.

Essential Experience

• Minimum of 5–7 years' experience in health program costing, health financing, or economic analysis.

• Proven experience in costing national or sectoral health strategies or plans.

• Experience working with government institutions and development partners.
