Description

Lutembe Beach Resort is hiring a Resort Manager to oversee operations and drive growth at the Resort. He/She will be charged with the following duties and responsibilities;

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Strategic Direction

  • Develop a realistic and attainable strategic business plan (including strategy, marketing, sales, and budgets).
  • Align strategy with the Country General Manager and cascade to all departments.
  • Ensure operational goals and profitability objectives are achieved.

2. People Management

  • Lead HR initiatives, including recruitment, induction, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Ensure effective staff development and motivation in line with company policies.

3. Guest Services

  • Set and meet customer retention and acquisition targets.
  • Build a culture of service excellence through staff training and incentives.

4. Financial Management

  • Oversee and maximize financial performance across functional areas.
  • Maintain high-quality service standards while ensuring strong guest satisfaction.

5. Sales & Marketing

  • Drive revenue growth through annual sales, marketing, and revenue management plans.
  • Supervise all resort-level sales and marketing activities.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • 8-10 years of experience in the Hospitality, Tourism & Leisure industry.
  • At least 8 years in senior management (HOD or AGM level) in a hospitality/resort setting.
