Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the coffee industry to manage financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting management decision-making, and maintaining compliance with statutory and industry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards
• Manage accounting for coffee procurement, inventory, warehousing, and export sales
• Track costs related to buying, processing, logistics, and export operations
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory requirements, and company policies
• Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax
• Strengthen and monitor internal financial controls
• Ensure proper documentation and approval processes
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Work closely with procurement, logistics, and operations teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience, with direct experience in the coffee industry
• Strong knowledge of inventory, export, and commodity accounting

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
