NOVA Microfinance Limited is seeking a motivated, experienced, and results-oriented Senior Partnership Officer to join our Business Development team.

Reports to: Partnership Manager

Location: Kampala, Uganda

Job Purpose

The Senior Partnership Officer will drive business growth through developing and managing strategic partnerships, generating quality business, maintaining partner relationships, supporting portfolio performance, and providing guidance to Partnership Officers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Generate new business, promote NOVA products, and achieve sales and disbursement targets through partnerships.

2. Partner & Portfolio Management: Manage partner performance, customer follow-up, collections, and portfolio quality to support sustainable growth.

3. Market & Relationship Development: Conduct partner visits, market assessments, and business development activities while maintaining strong partner relationships.

4. Team & Operational Support: Coordinate with Credit, Operations, Collections, and Branch teams to ensure smooth processing of partnership business and provide guidance to other Partnership Officers.

5. Reporting & Compliance: Prepare partnership performance reports and ensure compliance with NOVA policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

6. Strategic Support: Support the Partnership Manager in developing new partnership channels, strengthening existing relationships, and improving overall partnership performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in business development, partnerships, sales, microfinance, banking, or a related field.

• Proven experience in developing and managing business partnerships.

• Experience in financial services or microfinance is an added advantage.
