Uganics is a purpose-driven social enterprise working to make malaria prevention accessible and sustainable, while empowering women and communities through natural, locally made products. Our work sits at the intersection of health, impact, and storytelling, and social media is a key part of how we grow and connect.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a social media manager who can take full ownership of our digital presence, from strategy to execution. - Develop and execute a clear social media content strategy aligned with Uganics’ mission and growth goals
- Plan monthly content calendars, campaigns, and launches
- Identify trends, storytelling angles, and formats that resonate with our audience

- Edit and publish engaging content consistently across platforms
- Work closely with the team during events, campaigns, and activations to capture content
- Manage all Uganics social media accounts end-to-end
- Post consistently and maintain brand voice and visual identity
- Actively engage with followers: reply to comments, DMs, and inquiries professionally
- Build and nurture an engaged online community
- Track performance (reach, engagement, growth, conversions where possible)
- Monitor trends, audience feedback, and competitor activity
- Share simple weekly or monthly performance insights and improvement ideas
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and leadership teams
- Support ambassadors, campaigns, and partnerships with content and coordination
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience managing social media accounts (brand, business, or personal with strong growth)
- Strong storytelling skills, visual, written, and emotional
- Comfortable shooting and editing content on a smartphone
- Self-driven, organised, and able to work without close supervision
- Excellent communication and community engagement skills
- Passion for impact, wellness, women empowerment, or sustainability is a big plus
