Invitation to bid for Supply, Delivery and Installation of Office Furniture and Fittings, Gym Equipment & Kitchen Accessories for the proposed Head Office Building for The Inspectorate of Government at Plot No. 71-75, Yusuf Lule Road and Plot No. 24-26, Clement Hill Road, Kampala.

1. The Inspectorate of Government has allocated funds for the acquisition of Office Furniture and Fittings, Gym Equipment & Kitchen Accessories.

2. The Inspectorate of Government therefore invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Office Furniture and Fittings, Gym Equipment & Kitchen Accessories:

   • Lot 1 is Furniture, Fittings & Equipment; comprised of Office furniture, blinds & curtains, electrical appliances & accessories and graphics & artwork.

   • Lot 2 is Gym equipment.

   • Lot 3 is Kitchen equipment.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and are open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from: The Head of Procurement & Disposal Unit and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (local time).

5. A complete set of Bidding Document in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000. The method of payment will be cash deposited into the URA Account in the Bank, using Bank Payment Advice Forms which should be collected from the IG Accounts Department 6th Floor. The document may thereafter be collected from the Procurement and Disposal Unit 2nd floor Room 2.11, upon presentation of the receipt. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:30 a.m. on 08/07/26. All bids must be accompanied by bid security as below LOT 1: 2% of the contract sum LOT 2: 2% of the contract sum LOT 3: 2% of the contract sum Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the meeting room on 3rd Floor in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 11:00am on the same day.
