JOB DETAILS:

The Assistant Records Officer supports the organization and management of district records. Typical duties include receiving, classifying, indexing, filing, retrieving, and safely storing documents; maintaining accurate records and registers; assisting with records tracking and retrieval requests; and ensuring that information is handled confidentially. The role may also involve updating filing systems, preparing records for archiving, supporting document control, and helping ensure records are complete, accessible, and properly maintained in accordance with applicable procedures.

Level of Education: bachelor degree

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans. Interested persons should obtain and complete PSC Form 3, 2008, for non-teaching candidates, and submit three (3) most recent passport size photographs, curriculum vitae, employment record if any, national identity card, and certified academic and professional documents by awarding body.

Those already in government service MUST route their application through the Responsible Officer who should be notified of the closing date to avoid inconveniences.
