JOB DETAILS:
The Aga Khan Education Services (AKES) is an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network and one of the largest private, not-for-profit, non-denominational educational networks in the developing world.
Aga Khan Education Services, Uganda is currently seeking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer for AKES, Uganda which operates three schools in Kampala. The CEO will be responsible for supporting the school leaders in their day to day operations and the successful delivery of the Pages anisation's strategic direction for Uganda. .

The strategic goal, taking into account the impact of the COVID pandemic, repositions the current schools into two high performing affordable national and international school campuses with upgraded facilities, an enriched curriculum, and a focus on continuous development to ensure a values based 21st Century education for students. This may involve school construction, relocation and major facilities retrofitting.
To be the successful candidate, you will be an experienced visionary and dynamic leader.
You will demonstrate entrepreneurial instinct and have an extensive knowledge of contemporary developments in the global education arena. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as cultural awareness and sensitivity. Highly qualified in business and education management, you will have substantial senior leadership experience, preferably within education organizations.
