Job Summary:

The Recovery & Tracking Administrator will supervise a team of recovery and tracking officers in line with the company policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling the recovery team in managing the daily administration for loan documentation in full compliance with the internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Review loan documents and liaise with internal and external parties to ensure proper and efficient delivery of credit administration duties.
  • Conduct periodical review on loan administration policy and procedures to streamline workflow.
  • Control the recording, deposit, and withdrawal of the security documentation properly.
  • Generate, review and maintain loan disbursement reports for presentation to credit committees, and provide monthly reports on the same, in accordance with the credit policy and guidelines.
  • Ensure all lending Documentation is complete as per the Company Policy and Procedures with respect to the amount financed, terms and conditions, borrower’s borrowing mandate, authorized signatory etc.
  • Ensure that there is a robust process for the safe custody and control of all security documents.
  • Responsible for collateral valuation, collateral monitoring and collateral reconciliation with original documents.
  • Submit monthly and annual reports to the Supervisor.
  • Assign performance targets to the recovery team and monitor their performance.
  • Ensuring post-disbursement compliance with approved terms and conditions in line with the credit policy.
  • Generate and review daily system credit monitoring and management reports and identify non-performing accounts with irregularities and proactively follow up to ensure corrective action is taken in line with credit policy.
  • Monitor all irregularities, past dues, documentation deficiencies, etc., and report to the Branch Manager.
  • Releasing all the impounded bikes and doing the necessary documentation.
  • Conducting spot checks on the recovery team.
  • Ensuring that the repayments are coming in and arrears are being followed up.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and specifications:

  • Must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Microfinance or any related field.
  • Applicant must have at least two (2) years working experience in micro credit environment or a similar role, prior experience in a supervisory role is an advantage.
  • Must possess excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to function under pressure.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have high levels of personal and professional integrity.
  • Must be able and willing to ride a motorcycle and possess a valid riding license with Class A.
