Description
Media Challenge Initiative is hiring Sales Agents (3) to drive new business growth. The successful candidates will proactively identify and close new clients across corporate, NGO, government, and private sectors for our events, equipment rentals, office space, campaigns, and cafe services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new clients for IVAS services (events, equipment rentals, office space, campaigns, and Love Facts Cafe).
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of a sales strategy.
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients in Kampala and surrounding areas.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold calls, networking, meetings, and digital outreach.
- Present and pitch IVAS services professionally at trade fairs, expos, networking events, and industry gatherings.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and close deals for events, rentals, and campaigns.
- Manage client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and potential repeat business.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets with a strong focus on new client acquisition.
- Provide weekly sales reports and pipeline updates to the Managing Director.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Demographics
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of proven B2B sales experience (preferably in events, marketing services, equipment rental, media, or similar sectors).
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of camera and production work is an added advantage.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong “hunter” mentality with the ability to prospect and close deals independently.
- Good networking and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to do field visits and client meetings across Kampala.
