Sample Preparation Workers – 2 Positions (Male)

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, register, and organize samples for laboratory analysis
• Prepare mineral samples per established procedures, including drying, crushing, sieving, weighing, and packaging
• Ensure correct sample identification and prevent contamination or mixup
• Clean and maintain sample preparation equipment and work areas
• Follow lab health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Maintain accurate sample preparation records and assist with sample movement/storage

Qualifications

• Certificate in education with a Chemistry major
• Ability to handle laboratory and sample preparation equipment
• Physically fit and able to perform routine sample preparation duties
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to work in a team and comply with health and safety requirements
