JOB DETAILS:

Core Responsibilities:

System Maintenance & Repair

• Install, inspect, and maintain all cooling systems (ACs, chillers, cooling towers, refrigerators, ice machines).
• Perform diagnostics on electrical/mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (cleaning coils, checking belt tensions, calibrating thermostats).

Installation & Design

• Plan and install new HVAC systems (including chilled water supply systems).
• Troubleshoot DX units, heat pumps, and chillers in beverage production environments.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure EPA compliance (refrigerant handling certification required).
• Maintain food safety standards in cooling systems for beverage manufacturing.

Specialized Requirements

• Beverage industry experience (carbonated drinks/water treatment preferred).
• Emergency response capability for critical cooling system failures.

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications

• Diploma in HVAC or related technical field.
• County HVAC license and EPA refrigerant certification.

Experience

• 2+ years in industrial HVAC, preferably in food/beverage manufacturing.

Skills

• Electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret HVAC schematics.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols.

Work Conditions:

• Factory environment with exposure to production areas.
• On-call availability for system emergencies.

Performance Metrics: System uptime, energy efficiency, compliance audits.

Note: Role requires physical ability to access rooftop units and confined spaces.
