We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized accountant to join the finance team. The candidate will be responsible for handling financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
  • Handle general ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Process accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance 
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare financial statements.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess financial operations and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
  • Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks to process business transactions.
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Reconcile tax accounts and maintain accurate documentation for all tax-related matters

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years' work experience as an accountant
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
  • Additional certification (CPA) is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance, tax accounting, and financial reporting.
