Background
Advocate for Community Development and Environmental Protection (ACODEP) is recruiting for an upcoming multi-sectoral initiative focused on women’s participation in environmental peacebuilding, climate action, GBV/SGBV prevention, human rights protection, and environmental justice.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
1 Position | 1-Year Renewable Contract
Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative, clerical, logistical, and office-support services to ensure the smooth operation of ACODEP's activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support.
- Receive and direct telephone calls, emails, visitors, and correspondence.
- Prepare, format, print, scan, and file documents.
- Maintain accurate physical and electronic records.
- Support scheduling of meetings and appointments.
- Assist with preparation of meeting materials and minutes.
- Support procurement and office-supply management.
- Assist with travel, accommodation, and logistical arrangements.
- Maintain office inventories and administrative records.
- Support organisation of workshops, meetings, and events.
- Assist programme teams with administrative and logistical requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of organisational and personnel information.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by management.
Ideal Candidate
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
- Previous administrative experience is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
