Munyonyo Heights Apartments is a premier serviced apartment property offering tranquil, fully furnished accommodation for both short- and long-term guests.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Apartment Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate should be a mature, results-driven professional capable of maintaining high service standards, enforcing operational policies, and ensuring profitability through effective management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

  • Supervise day-to-day apartment operations including housekeeping, maintenance, and front office.
  • Ensure rooms are guest-ready, well-maintained, and meet brand standards.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process, ensuring smooth guest experiences.

2. Financial Oversight

  • Handle rent collection, payments, and petty cash disbursement.
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial and occupancy reports.
  • Monitor operational costs and suggest cost-efficient improvements.

3. Guest Relations

  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
  • Ensure all guests receive professional service and maintain a 5-star hospitality standard.

4. Team Supervision

  • Oversee housekeeping, security, and support staff to ensure discipline and productivity.
  • Conduct performance reviews, shift planning, and team meetings.
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful working environment.

5. Sales & Marketing Support

  • Manage OTA listings (Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia) and ensure accuracy of property content.
  • Coordinate social media updates and promotions in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Upsell property services (e.g., airport pickups, city tours, extended stays).

6. Property & Asset Management

  • Ensure safety and security of the premises.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of apartment furnishings, linens, and electronics.
  • Liaise with service providers for maintenance, utilities, and repairs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in property or hotel management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Competent in computer-based systems, PMS (e.g., Beds24, Cloudbeds), and MS Office Suite.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage small operational teams.
  • Fluent in English and Luganda (knowledge of Kiswahili or French is an added advantage).

Working Conditions

  • Full-time on-site role at Munyonyo Heights Apartments.
  • Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required for guest emergencies.
  • Competitive salary offered.
