Background

Kazire Health Products Ltd, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking to recruit FIVE (5) competent, committed and results-oriented Assistant Production Supervisors to support its production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising daily production activities to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to approved procedures and standards.
• Ensure proper utilization of raw materials, machinery and other production resources.
• Monitor production staff attendance, discipline and performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality and workplace safety requirements.
• Monitor production output, yields, wastage and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare daily production reports.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control and the Production Manager to ensure product quality.
• Identify and report production challenges and recommend corrective actions.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Chemistry, Laboratory Science or any other relevant science-related field is preferred.
• Candidates with qualifications in Production Management, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology or related disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be an added advantage.
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• High levels of discipline, integrity and attention to detail.
