JOB DETAILS:

Company Details

In a residential district, this upscale hotel is 1 km from Kampala National Theatre, 2 km from Kampala railway station and 3 km from Uganda Museum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve quality coffee, including, cappuccino, latte, espresso, Americana and specialty beverages.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and other coffee equipment.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste and presentation.
• Monitor coffee supplies, manage stock and minimise wastage.
• Promote beverage sales through upselling.

Qualifications:

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food Beverage Service and Barista Training.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Barista preferably in a hotel, restaurant or specialty coffee shop
• Practical knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming and latte art.
• Good understanding of coffee varieties and brewing methods.
• Excellent customer service, communication and teamwork skills
