SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF ELECTRICAL SUPPLIES, PLUMBING SUPPLIES, GENERAL MATERIALS AND MINOR CARPENTRY WORKS UNDER FRAMEWORK ARRANGEMENT - BOU/SUPLS/25-26/00069

2. Pre-bid Meetings / Supplier workshops shall be held at all upcountry Bank of Uganda Branches located in Arata Fort for the Udua, Ping Kahala, Lira, Masaka, Mwanam and Mohae or the date and at the times indicated in the Bidding Documentation. These shall be on-sport registration of all other businesses owned by Special Interest Groups during the Supplier workshops.

3. Bidders shall only participate in provision of supplies or services for the Bank Branch nearest to them. Bidders’ physical addresses shall be located within a distance of not more than 15 km from the relevant Bank Branch to which they are bidding for goods and related services.

4. The bidding document shall be issued to interested bidders by email upon submission of request to procurement@kou.ac.us (DE physically in the Bank of Uganda Branches countrywide (DE bidders may download the bidding document from the Bank of Uganda website www.bou.ac.us). A hard copy shall be available for inspection at each Bank of Uganda Branch countrywide.

5. The deadline for bid submission shall be at 11:00am EAT on December 19, 2025

6. This procurement is reserved for National Providers, Youth, Women and Persons with Disabilities from the Communities where the relevant Branches are located.

National Provider means a Ugandan Citizen or Provider registered in Uganda and wholly owned and controlled by Ugandans.

Women:

• A biological Female Ugandan citizen aged 18 years and above (National ID must be submitted).

• An enterprise that is registered with the relevant Government Body and is at least 51% women owned, controlled and operated on a regular basis. (Documentation proving shareholding must be submitted).

Youth:

• A Ugandan aged between 18-30 years (National ID must be submitted).

• An enterprise that is registered with the relevant Government Body and is at least 51% Youth owned, controlled and of majority Youth leadership. (Documentation proving shareholding must be submitted).

Persons with Disabilities (PWDs):

• A Ugandan citizen with an impairment specified in Schedule 3 of Persons with Disabilities Act. (National ID and registration with Organisations such as National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD), National Union of Persons with Disabilities (NUDPU), among others.).

• An enterprise that is registered with the relevant Government Body and is at least 51% owned, controlled and operated on a regular basis by one or more persons with disability who are Ugandan citizens (Documentation proving shareholding must be submitted).
