ABOUT QUALITY UGANDA
Quality Uganda is the country’s leading bottle-to-bottle recycling company, and the only one transforming waste PET plastic into food-grade bottles locally. Our modern recycling facility in Mukono processes over 2,000 metric tonnes of plastic monthly. As we expand our nationwide network of Collection Hubs, we seek a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As Collection Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for streamlining operations across all collection hubs. The role focuses on systems development, compliance, staff training, and continuous improvement to ensure operational excellence and environmental impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Standardize operational procedures and documentation.
- Train and supervise field staff and agents in proper collection practices.
- Identify gaps in operations and reporting; implement solutions.
- Collaborate with communities, suppliers, and partners to strengthen the supply chain.
- Support the rollout of digital tools and data systems to track hub performance.
- Conduct regular site visits for compliance checks and process optimization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
- At least 5 years of field operations or supply chain experience.
- Strong leadership, training, and team coordination abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with data tools and proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Uganda
