Credit Officer
Responsibilities or duties
- Booking new and repeat loans as per Officers targets
- Preparing the prerequisite number of loan files and ensuring that all requirements are on file and proper credit analysis has been done and then submit to your supervisor.
- Following up approved loans to do timely disbursement and achieve a TAT of not more than 3 days per case.
- Reporting all non-performing cases to the supervisor and seek recovery support.
- Monitoring and recovery of all the loans in their portfolio.
- Selling all KYAPS’ loan products to the general public and converting them into KYAPS members.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Minimum of a Diploma in a Business related field.
- Should possess 2 principle passes at A’ Level and credits in English and Mathematics at O’ Level.
Experience needed
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field.
Skills and Competencies Required
- Good team work skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Creativity and writing skills.
- Strong business and analytical skills
- Should be self driven
- High level of integrity
