Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership & Institutional Business Development
- Digital Farming Tools Expansion: Identify and pitch smart digital farming tools and satellite-based advisory services to large-scale estates, outgrower associations, and agribusinesses to improve yield monitoring and field management.
- Strategic Alliances: Identify, negotiate, and close partnerships with NGOs, Cooperatives, and Government bodies to integrate our irrigation and energy solutions into their farmer-support programs.
- Network Management: Recruit and supervise local agents and influencers (agridealers, local leaders) to act as a high-conversion sales force for our hardware and digital services.
2. Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Campaign Design: Independently design and execute digital marketing campaigns that convert value propositions into engaging, easy-to-understand social media content.

- Impact Documentation: Travel to the field to capture customer stories that demonstrate the ROI of our solutions through photos and short videos.
- Community Engagement: Moderate customer WhatsApp groups to share technical tips and digital alerts, turning engagement into repeat sales or referrals.
3. Sales Coordination & Field Operations
- Digital Onboarding: Coordinate the registration of farmers onto digital platforms, ensuring users understand how to act on data-driven alerts.
- Field Activations: Organize and lead field demonstrations with farmer groups and community centers to generate and close high-quality leads for irrigation and energy solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Use digital tools (Google Forms/CRM) to track the sales funnel from initial contact to installation and after-sales support.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, or related field.
- Proven Track Record: At least 3–5 years of demonstrable success in sales or business development, specifically achieving targets within the AgTech, Renewable Energy, or agricultural sectors in Uganda.

Skills & Attributes
- Results-Oriented: A strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets and partnership milestones.
- Creative & Strategic Marketing: Knows how to convert a complex value proposition into a compelling social media post and independently manage the resulting campaign.
- Communication: Fluent in English and Luganda (additional Lusoga is a plus).
- Technical Savvy: Ability to explain smart digital farming tools, solar powered irrigation, and smart battery technology in simple, persuasive terms.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to rural project sites.
Contract Terms
- Start Date: As soon as possible.
- Compensation: Monthly fixed pay + field facilitation allowance.
