Description:

The successful candidate will maintain accurate and reliable databases for MUJHU’s clinical research and program data.

Required qualifications and profile:

A minimum of a Diploma in Statistics, IT or Records Management with at least 2 years’ working experience in a busy institution. Prior experience with clinical or implementation science research would be an added advantage. The applicant should be computer literate, have accurate typing speeds, pays attention to detail, and flexible (able to multi–task and work beyond official work hours whenever the need arises). A basic understanding of databases and knowledge of statistical programs e.g. STATA, R, SPSS will be an advantage.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Data entry and verification.
• Track participant clinic visits.
• Printing participants PTID labels
• Provide study teams with organized files for data collection.
• Identify any inconsistencies within the source documents to the Data Manager for verification and editing.
• Provide feedback regarding data issues to the study and project teams.
• Participate in protocol team trainings and meetings.
