1. Role Overview

The Delivery Personnel is responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate transportation and delivery of company products, documents, and other assigned items to customers, suppliers, business partners, and designated locations.

The role involves receiving delivery instructions, verifying items before dispatch, maintaining proper delivery records, handling company goods responsibly, and ensuring that customers receive their orders in good condition and within the agreed timelines.

Delivery Personnel must demonstrate professionalism, honesty, good communication, time management, and adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations.

2. What Success in the Position Looks Like

A successful Delivery Personnel should demonstrate the following results:

• Timely Deliveries: All assigned deliveries are completed within the agreed timelines.
• Accuracy: Correct products, quantities, and documents are delivered to the right recipients.
• Product Safety: Products are handled, transported, and delivered without damage, loss, or contamination.
• Customer Service: Customers are treated respectfully and professionally, with positive feedback received.
• Accountability: All deliveries are properly documented, acknowledged, and reported.
• Cost Management: Fuel, transport expenses, and other delivery resources are used responsibly.
• Communication: Delays, customer concerns, and delivery challenges are promptly communicated to management.
• Compliance: Company procedures, traffic regulations, safety requirements, and product-handling standards are followed.
• Asset Management: Company motorcycles, vehicles, phones, and other assigned equipment are properly maintained.

Key indicators of success include:

• 95–100% of assigned deliveries completed successfully.
• Minimal customer complaints and delivery errors.
• Zero avoidable product losses or damages.
• Accurate delivery records and proof of delivery.
• Responsible use and maintenance of company transport assets.
