Job Profile / Summary
The Finance, Sales & Admin Manager is responsible for financial stewardship, statutory compliance, HR administration, and driving sales growth. They oversee refunds, tax filings, payroll, and ensure that the company remains fully compliant with URA, UTB licensing fees, and statutory obligations under the Tourism Act (2008).
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee financial planning, accounting, and reporting.
2. Approve refunds and process within the 14-day compliance period.
3. Ensure accurate invoicing, deposits, and reconciliations.
4. Oversee payroll, HR records, and statutory deductions.
5. Supervise Accountant, Sales, and Marketing staff.
6. Ensure timely URA tax filings and UTB licensing fee payments.
7. Approve procurement, supplier contracts, and credit management.
8. Manage insurance claims and excess contributions.
9. Ensure all financial policies align with IFRS and ICPAU standards.
10. Oversee marketing and sales strategies for business growth.
11. Maintain risk registers and cash flow forecasts.
12. Ensure compliance with Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act.
13. Prepare monthly financial and HR reports for CEO and Board.
14. Support audits and provide financial data as required.
15. Maintain investor relations and funding reporting.
KPIs & Targets
- Refunds processed within 14 days.
- 100% compliance with tax and UTB filings.
- Achieve 15% sales growth year-on-year.
- Zero audit queries.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelors in Accounting/Finance/Business (Makerere, UMI).
- Professional: CPA(U), ACCA(UK), ICPAU membership.
- 7+ years in finance/admin management.
