Qualification and Person Specification
- A Degree in Business Administration with Accounting Option, Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
- Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage
- Two (2) years’ working experience in a reputable organization
- Well-developed interpersonal and public relations skills
- Proficient in Accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office tools.
- Strong financial management and analytical skills
- Knowledge of tax laws, payroll, and Audit Processes
- High moral character and proven integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare books of Accounts and Accounting Records of the Hotel
- Supervise revenue collection and manage Hotel finances
- Prepare and maintain books of Accounts and financial records
- Develop and monitor budgets and generate periodic financial reports
- Reconcile Bank statements with the cashbook and Accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory obligations
- Manage payroll processing, including deductions and remittances
