Job Summary:
The Inventory & Logistics Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain for critical medical equipment, parts, and consumables. This role ensures the right products are available at the right time, optimizing inventory levels and managing efficient logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels of medical spare parts, reagents, and consumables.
- Process purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and negotiate pricing.
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming shipments; manage storage and organization of the warehouse.
- Plan and coordinate the logistics for delivery of equipment and parts to various clinic locations.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels, place orders, and generate reports.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory control procedures to minimize waste and loss.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, procurement, or logistics, preferably in healthcare or medical devices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational, planning, and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
