Job Purpose:

To support the farm's financial strategy by analyzing potential investments, conducting market research, and providing data-driven recommendations to optimize the company's asset portfolio and expansion projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and valuation of potential investment opportunities (e.g., new farm equipment, land acquisitions, diversification projects).
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to forecast returns, cash flows, and risks.
  • Perform industry and market research to identify trends and assess competitive positioning.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor the performance of existing investments and provide regular reports.
  • Assist in the due diligence process for potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships.
  • Track and analyze the company's financial performance against budget and strategic goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
