1. Description of the organizations and its activities

Malteser International is the humanitarian relief agency of the Catholic Sovereign Order of Malta, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of vulnerable communities worldwide. In Uganda, we have been working for nearly 30 years to build resilience and restore dignity through interventions in Health, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), and Food & Nutrition Security (FNS). Partnering with over 10 national organizations, our efforts currently focus on nationwide health and the refugee response in West Nile and Southwest Uganda, supporting refugees from South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo and host communities.

2. Objective of the Call for Tender

In accordance with the overall targets of the above-mentioned operations, Malteser International is extending its support by undertaking the below listed procurements.

• The deadline for the submission of the offer is by close of business November 21st-2026

• If you do not hear from us via email request within 2 days, a company representative should come and pick up the bidding documents from our office in Bibunga, M.Nanjala road OR contact us on +256 (0) 393 265644.

• Without quoting the reference number in the subject line of your email request for the bidding document(s), Malteser reserves the right not to send you the bidding document(s).

• Malteser International also reserves the right to reject and cancel the order in case any illegal or corrupt practices have been connected with the award or execution of the contract.

• Malteser International reserves the right to take any possible legal action or blacklist the service provider/ contractor/supplier who engages in any form of forgery of our documents or signatures for ulterior motives.

• Disclaimer: MI is under no obligation to award the lowest or highest or any bidder at all and may cancel the whole/hart process when it deems fit without giving further justification.

• Malteser International reserves the right to cancel this exercise in case of limited funding or the lack of it to execute the procurement.
