JOB TITLE: Manager, Agency Banking
JOB REF: OPS/EQBUL 10/2019/3
REPORTS TO: HEAD, BUSINESS PROJECTS
Job Purpose:
The job holder is responsible for the planning, development and execution of Agency Banking operations strategy and other financial inclusion initiatives in line with the Bank's growth strategy..

  Key Result Areas:
• Develop and implement the Agency distribution channel strategy
• Drive agency banking growth through product development, new acquisitions and expansion and enhancement of existing relationships.
• Coordinate various Agency Product implementation activities across key stakeholders
• Ensure that the branch staff are well trained in all new initiatives undertaken on all delivery channels.
• Oversee the execution of an agent monitoring and support framework
• Develop and implement Service Level Agreements within the bank and with all third parties.
• Perform periodic reviews and drive performance of agency banking personnel.
• Enforce compliance as per Agency banking guidelines.
• Oversee branding as per operating standards

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree in a business related field from a recognized university.
• 5 years’ General banking experience inclusive of 2 years at supervisory/ Management level
• In-depth knowledge of Agency Banking Business Model, technology & operations
• Good commercial knowledge/awareness
• Customer centric disposition
• Good knowledge of the banks products and services.
• Demonstrated understanding/experience of agency banking model
• Good analytical and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated good geographical, demographic and economic knowledge of regional environment
