• We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Marketing and Communications Coordinator
• in Uganda to join our awesome team that is passionate about understanding and meeting the
needs of women in Uganda!
• Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will oversee the sales targets delivery and
• development of Key Accounts segments. You will be responsible for the sales team and medical
detailers.

What are we looking for?
The basics
• BA/BS degree in Mass Communication, Marketing or any other related field.
• 2-3 years’ experience in Marketing and communications in general.
• Demonstrated experience in developing communications campaigns, engagement with
• marketing and communications agencies.
• Managing marketing plans and budgets is an added advantage.

• VIYA Brand Development
• Custodian of the VIYA brand guidelines
• Develop proactive, consistent channels of communication to reach internal and external
• stakeholder groups.
• Ensure VIYA brand is present and well represented at all relevant locations/opportunities.
• Communications Management
• Develop and execute the annual VIYA communications content calendar
• Working with the PSI global communications team, and digital teams to ensure alignment
• of Viya’s and PSI Global communications strategies especially considering the changing
• environment
• Support in development of communication briefs for VIYA and PSI leadership in
• engagement with key stakeholders.
• Marketing and channel plan development and execution
• Work closely with regional and global marketing leads to support VIYA country team in
• development of brand and channel plans for all brands in the country in line with the
• annual planning timelines
• Focal person for procurement of marketing materials ensuring the best value in quality,
• time and cost are achieved
• Tracking of marketing budgets in line with approved plans.
• Supporting the sales team to ensure tracking and execution of the channel plans
• Risk Management
• Proactively identify any reputational risks and highlight them with proposed mitigation
• measures
• Maintain strong media relationships to mitigate against any negative media coverage of
 VIYA
