Description
Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Graduate Trainee for a client in the oil and gas sector. The role involves assisting the Chief Mechanic in maintaining equipment and troubleshooting technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Mechanic in analyzing and repairing equipment malfunctions to meet drilling operation requirements.
- Support rig crew in maintaining accurate equipment running records and verifying their correctness.
- Contribute to safety by ensuring rig crew strictly follow safe operation procedures when using equipment.
- Assist in inspecting and verifying spare parts received on rig site.
- Support warehouse organization by sorting spare parts, maintaining vouchers, and managing stock-in and stock-out documentation.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and orderly working environment on the rig.
- Assist rig crew in completing additional tasks assigned by rig management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Recent graduate within the past two years.
- Basic knowledge of oil and gas operations is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on, technical environment.
