Responsibilities or duties

• Teach the allocated workload in a semester
• Prepare assessment tools and marking guides accordingly
• Teach and assess students in accordance with the University’s Curriculum
• Must be present for all lecturers
• Should attend to students’ academic needs and also offer advice.
• Must be available for departmental, academic and administrative meetings
• Should be willing to uphold the University’s instruments of Identity

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Must have a first or second upper-class Bachelor of Science (BSc) OR Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in the following Engineering Disciplines: Mechatronics Engineering, OR Mechanical Engineering OR Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, OR Industrial Engineering, OR Automotive Engineering, OR Aeronautical Engineering, OR Aerospace Engineering
• OR Any Undergraduate Engineering Degree Related to Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering Discipline from a recognized institution of higher learning.
• Promise of skill and effectiveness in teaching and advising students.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
• Must have excellent computer skills.
• Must be able to learn, adapt, and be flexible in an office and classroom.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Must be self-motivated, teachable, willing and able to learn, and a team player
• Must be dependable and committed to continuous improvement, learning, and personal growth.
• Ability to solve problems quickly, accurately, effectively, and efficiently.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Must be able to pay attention to detail.
• Should be a committed and practicing Christian

Experience needed

The Bachelor’s degree should have been obtained not more than five (5) years ago, i.e., the applicant should have graduated after 1st Jan 2021
