Koboko District Local Government intends to prequalify firms for works, supplies and services and Framework Contract for Financial Year 2023/20234FY.

Procurement, Framework Contract and Prequalification will be conducted in accordance with the prequalification/Framework Contract Open Competitive Bidding Procedure Specified in Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (PPDA) 2003, and is open to all eligible bidders.

Koboko District Local Government now invites sealed bids / applications from interested competent registered firms and individuals for Prequalification, Framework contract and Management of markets/revenue collections services as below.

A. PREQUALIFICATION OF PROVIDERS FOR

SUPPLIES.

  • Supply of Agro Inputs/Seedlings, planting materials II. Supply of tree seedlings
  • Supply of improved and local livestock, poultry inputs. Agriculture inputs, fish fingerlings, feeds and inputs and equipment.
  • IV. Supply of borehole spare parts
  • V. Supply of food items

B. PRE-QUALIFICATION OF PROVIDERS FOR WORKS.

  • General constructions/repair of buildings
  • Construction/repair of bridges
  • Deep borehole drilling and installations
  • Construction of VIP. Pit and Echosan Latrines.
  • Completion of Padrombo Seed Secondary School.

C. PRE-QUALIFICATION OF PROVIDERS FOR SERVICES.

  • Consultancy services in borehole siting, drilling and supervision
  • Provision of surveying and titling of lands
  • Preparation of physical Development Plans
  • Hire of tractor services

D. MANAGEMENT OF MARKETS AND REVENUE COLLECTION SERVICES.

  • Management of Keri market in Keri Town Council
  • Management of Busia market in Kuluba Sub County III. Management of Kagoropa market in Kuluba Sub County IV. Management of Lorry/car parking yard at Oraba Town Council
  • Management of Lima market in Ludara Sub County VI. Management of Komendaku market in Lobule Sub County VII. Management of Deku market, Abuku Sub County

E. FRAMEWORK CONTRACT.

  • Provision of capacity building, training, research and development services under.
  • Supply and hire of local and industrial construction materials, culverts, road tools, equipment and protective gears.
  • Supply, services and repair of vehicles, motorcycles. fuel, oil, lubricants, tyres, tubes, rims and other related equipment.
  • Supply, service and repair of computers, photocopiers, generator, cameras and accessories.
  • Supply of assorted office stationery, office cleaning consumables, printing of t-shirts, banners and flags.
  • Supply of executive and ordinary furniture, fittings, beds. plastic chairs and fixtures for schools and Health Centre. VII. Supply of veterinary drugs and equipment.
  • Supply, installation and maintenance of solar power and accessories.

CONDITIONS.

1.            Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal Assets of Public Act 2003 and is open to all eligible bidders.

1.            Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Koboko District Local Government - Procurement and Disposal Unit and inspect the bidding documents and disposable assets at the address given below in No. 6(a) from 8:00am-5:00pm on working days.

2.            A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased at a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000= (Shillings One Hundred thousand only) for all categories. All payments shall be generated from the account department to generate payment reference number for onward payments and all bidders are therefore advised to obtain a general receipt from the district cashier.

3.            Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Monday 26th June, 2023 at 10:00am. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address below on Monday 28th June. 2023at Koboko District Council Hall at 10:00am
