Koboko Municipal Council intends to solicit bids for management of revenue sources in the financial year 2025/2026
The management of revenue sources will be conducted in accordance with open domestic bidding, a procedure specified in Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (PPDA) 2003 and is open to all domestic bidders.
Koboko Municipal Council now invites sealed bids/applications from interested, competent registered firms, Groups, Individuals, companies, Associations, and Special Interest Groups for the following revenue sources.
The selected bidder(s) will be responsible for the efficient and transparent management of the specified revenue sources within Koboko Municipal Council. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Revenue Collection: Ensuring timely and accurate collection of fees, taxes, or commissions as per the agreed terms.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed and transparent records of all transactions and submitting regular reports to the council.
- Compliance: Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and council policies, including the PPDA Act 2003.
- Customer Service: Addressing queries and resolving disputes from traders, transporters, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Overseeing the upkeep and cleanliness of the assigned markets, parking areas, or other facilities.
- Security: Ensuring the safety and security of the premises and users.
- Innovation: Proposing and implementing improvements to enhance revenue generation and service delivery.
