This includes integrating learning content into digital tools, facilitating cross-departmental consultations, and enabling program improvements through effective collaboration and knowledge sharing. The Coordinator will document complex programmatic information and translate it into accessible, learner-friendly formats for staff and communities, while also contributing to program reviews and capturing actionable insights from pilots and field feedback. The ideal candidate will bring strong facilitation, qualitative research, capacity building, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently manage projects and drive continuous program learning and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Documentation & Translation
● Capture and document program methodology, lessons learned, and best practices into handbooks, guides, and training resources.
● Translate complex program content into accessible, learner-friendly formats
● Maintain quality assurance and version control for program knowledge resources.

Staff Learning & Capacity Building
● Identify staff learning needs and develop training programs and tools that drive measurable improvement in staff competencies.
● Develop strong evaluation tools for measuring learning effectiveness.

Qualitative Research & Community Insights
● Design and conduct qualitative research (focus groups, in-depth interviews) in local languages to generate actionable insights for program improvement.
● Analyze and synthesize findings to inform program adaptations and innovations.
● Collaborate with Implementation and Venn teams to integrate community feedback into program design.

Program Reviews & Facilitation
● Support bi-annual program review processes by reviewing technical content and facilitating working group discussions to probe for insights, clarify discrepancies, and ensure actionable next steps.
● Document outputs of program reviews and follow up on action items with relevant teams.

Innovation & Collaboration
● Support the integration of learning content into RTV’s digital tools in partnership with the Venn team.
● Gather and synthesize insights from pilots and learning hubs to identify opportunities for program improvement and innovation.
● Collaborate with Implementation, M&E, and Applied Learning colleagues across Uganda and Toronto.

Required Skills and Expertise
Essential
● Strong qualitative research skills: experience designing tools, facilitating focus group discussions and in-depth interviews, and consolidating findings.
● Proven ability to design learning materials and adapt complex technical content into practical, user-friendly formats, preferably in a non-profit/international development context.
● Aptitude for research and writing, with a strong portfolio of content developed for
capacity building initiatives
● Excellent facilitation, training, and communication skills for guiding multistakeholder discussions and collaborating effectively across levels.
● Strong project management skills: ability to take ownership of projects and deliver independently with minimal supervision.
● Analytical mindset with the ability to critique content, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
● Excellent organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
● Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of knowledge resources.
● Excellent written and spoken English.
● Proficiency in Google Suite/MS Office.
● Willingness to travel frequently to field offices and partner communities.

● Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or digital learning platforms.
● Ability to ride a motorbike for long distances in hard terrains
● Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Developmental Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
● Five (5) years of previous experience in international development, applied research, knowledge management or program learning will be an advantage
● Experience working in rural/community development contexts is highly desirable.
