Job Purpose:
In this role you will ensure that project is completed on time, within the budget and to the required quality standards. You will also place a crucial role in the successful execution of project by providing support to the Programme Officer and team
You will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementation – assist in the development of project plans, time lines and schedules
- Communication and visibility – acting as a liaison between UGGA, team members, stakeholders and clients to facilitate effective communication and ensure everyone is informed of project progress and changes in Kumi, Pallisa, Kabale, and Rukiga districts
- Financial management – monitor project finance performance and provide technical advice to management on budget performance and accountability
- Resource management – coordinating and allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment and materials to ensure they are available when needed
- Documentation – maintaining project documentation including reports, meeting minutes and records of decisions and changes
- Monitoring and reporting – tracking project progress and performance against the plan and providing regular updates to the programme officer and stakeholders
- Risk management – identify potential issues and risks and assisting in development and implementation of mitigation strategies
- Quality assurance – ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements
- Performance management – work closely with programme officer in ensuring staff are appraised and their capacity needs assessed.
- Administrative support – handling administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings with key stakeholders, coordinating travel arrangement and managing project related correspondences

Qualifications
- A Hons. Bachelor’s degree in either Education, Management Studies, Business Administration (Management option), Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related qualifications obtained from a recognized Institution.
- Postgraduate qualification in Management or Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation is an added advantage.
- Experience in financial management
- Must have had over 5 years working experience from a reputable organization is desired
- Project management skills will be an added advantage
- Fluency in English and one Local Language
