INVITATION TO BID (ITB) FOR
RENOVATION OF MATERNITY WARDS IN EIGHT (8) HEALTH FACILITIES ACROSS 7 REGIONS IN UGANDA.
BACKGROUND
University Research Co., LLC (URC), a US- based company working in Uganda since 2005, is implementing the URC/USAID-Uganda Health Activity [URC/USAID-UHA]. URC/USAID-UHA supports the Government of Uganda's (GOU's) efforts to increase the survival and well-being of vulnerable populations and improve overall health system resilience in seven priority regions. The program's objective among others is to strengthen the quality and availability of Maternal Newborn and Child Health (MNCH), FP/RH, nutrition, and facility-level WASH services as well as health systems at the Regional, District, Facility, and Community-levels.
University Research Co., LLC under the USAID Uganda Health Activity is inviting interested contractors to submit their offers for the Renovation of Health Facilities-Maternity Wards as per details below,
Details of the tender.
A) Subject: The subject of Procurement is Renovation of maternity Wards in 8 selected health Centers across 7 Regions in Uganda under the following lots.
Lot 1: Chahafi HC IV, Kisoro District in Kigezi Region
Lot 2: Nadunget HC IV. Moroto District in Karamoja
Region
Lot 3: Namatala HC IV, Mbale City in Bugisu Region
Lot 4: Walukuba HC IV, Jinja City in Busoga Region
Lot 5: Purongo HC III, Nwoya District in Acholi Region
Lot 6: Rubindi HC III, Mbarara District in Ankole
Lot 7: Akalo HC III, Kole District in Lango Region
Lot 8: Cheputuya HC III, Kapchorwa District in Bugisu Feedback to bidders
Region
Lot 9: Consultancy services for supervision of Renovation works across the 8 sites in A) above.
Note: Bidders who apply for Lot 9 shall not be eligible for any award under any other lot in category A) above.

Interested bidders may obtain further information and request for Bidding documents by submitting a written application via email to UHAProcurement@urc-chs.com
Sealed Bids in duplicate, addressed to the Chief of Party shall be hand delivered to the following physical address:

Lot number and subject of procurement/category applied for, must be indicated on top of the envelope.
