JOB DETAILS:
Western Logistics Ltd is a clearing and forwarding company that clears both exports from Uganda to other countries in the whole world and transports cargo from place of loading to Mombasa or other countries bordering Uganda and then imports from Mombasa to Kampala and through Uganda to other countries. Job Summary: On behalf of our client in exports and imports, we are looking for a results-driven Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage client prospects.

Job Description:
As a Sales Officer, your main responsibility will be to drive sales revenue and contribute to the overall growth of the company. You will be the key point of contact between the company and its clients, and your role will involve building strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. You will collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure the delivery of exceptional client experiences and the successful execution of sales strategies.

Responsibilities:
1. Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets by proactively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, upselling to existing clients, and effectively closing deals.
2. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers, understanding their needs, addressing inquiries, and providing exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction.
3. Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies and action plans to penetrate the market, expand the client base, and increase the company's sales.
4. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, using the insights to refine sales approaches and product positioning.
5. Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and performance analyses, keeping management informed about sales progress, challenges, and opportunities.
6. Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's products or services to effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value propositions to potential clients.
7. Sales Presentations and Proposals: Deliver compelling sales presentations and prepare persuasive proposals tailored to the specific needs of clients.
8. Negotiations: Conduct negotiations with potential clients to close deals, ensuring mutual satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
9. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales support team to address client inquiries, process orders, and resolve issues promptly.
10. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, marketing department, and other stakeholders to align sales strategies and leverage resources for maximum effectiveness.

Requirements:
1. Education: bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Experience: Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in the same industry or a related field.
3. Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify leads, convert prospects, and achieve sales targets. Strong negotiation and closing skills are essential.
4. Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
5. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
6. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
7. Result-Oriented: Goal-driven and motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets, with a track record of success.
8. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment, adapting to changing market conditions and customer demands.
9. Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the capacity to work effectively as part of a sales team and contribute to a positive team culture.
