Security Guard

Role Summary

The Security Guard will be responsible for protecting the company's employees, visitors, property, equipment, and premises by maintaining a safe and secure working environment through effective surveillance and access control.

Key Responsibilities

• Guard company premises and assets against theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Control entry and exit of visitors, staff, and vehicles.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify and report security risks.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and report suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, security incidents, and alarms.
• Maintain occurrence books and prepare incident reports.
• Enforce company security procedures and safety regulations.
• Assist during emergencies, evacuations, and investigations.
• Ensure company property is secure during and after working hours.

Qualifications

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in security services is an added advantage.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• High level of honesty, discipline, and professionalism.
