Key Responsibilities:
1. International Student Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified international students from targeted regions and countries.
- Represent TRU at education fairs, deliver presentations at schools, colleges, and universities and utilize various marketing channels to promote TRU's programs.
2. Admissions Support:
- Assist prospective students with the admissions process, providing detailed information about program requirements, application procedures, tuition fees, and more.
- Collaborate with TRU's admissions team to review and evaluate international student applications as needed.
3. Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with international education agents, high schools, counseling centers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Serve as TRU's representative, engaging in regular communication to promote TRU's offerings and address inquiries.
4. International Partnerships:
- Identify and develop partnerships with international institutions, organizations, and agencies to facilitate student exchanges, articulation agreements, and collaborative initiatives.
5. Market Research:
- Stay informed about international education trends, market demands, and competitor activities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas and recommend strategies to enhance TRU's international recruitment efforts.
6. Travel and Representation:
- Represent TRU at international recruitment fairs and events, requiring frequent travel.
- Ensure the ability and availability to travel as necessary.
7. Student Support:
- Provide support and guidance to enrolled international students, addressing their concerns until their departure.
8. Reporting and Metrics:
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, student inquiries, and admissions data.
- Prepare reports and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet recruitment targets within specified deadlines.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
- Access to a suitable remote working environment, including a laptop with a webcam, high-speed internet, and a cell phone.
Key Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship-building and diplomacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, facilitating effective communication with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using technology, particularly the Microsoft Office suite, to carry out job responsibilities efficiently.
- The ability to analyze market trends, gather relevant data, and produce comprehensive market performance reports to inform recruitment strategies.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in recruitment materials, communication, and documentation.
- Experience in marketing, sales, consulting, or counseling.
- Adaptability to changing circumstances and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adjusting recruitment strategies as needed.
