Design, Fabrication and Installation of Automated Trash Rack Pit Cover Grating

Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for the Design, Fabrication and Installation of Automated Trash Rack Pit Cover Grating Isimba HPP.
The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (the Act) Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
The bidding document which has been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be on Uganda Electricity Generation A/C No. 9030011177319, Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited upon which you shall be presented with a bank slip as proof of payment. The document may be picked by bidders from UEGCL Kampala Office.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00am of Friday 6 March, 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 10,000,000= (Uganda Shillings Ten Million Only). Bid securities must be valid until Friday 28 August, 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 10:10am of Friday 6 March, 2026.
Shall be a pre-bid meeting/site visit at IHPP Kayunga from 11:00am on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.
