Sanlam Allianz Investments Ltd (SAIL) is a leading fund manager in the region and has a strong record of accomplishment in service delivery and performance. We are seeking to recruit a talented individual who will fill the position of Senior Financial Advisor in our Uganda office with a demonstrable record of driving sales, building and developing business relationships and growing business in the financial sector.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Unit Trust Distribution, the Senior Financial Advisor will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Direct Sales & Client Acquisition
  • Identify, engage and convert prospective clients into unit trust investors.
  • Provide tailored financial advice and maintain strong client relationships to grow investment portfolios.
  • Team Leadership & Support
  • Mentor and guide the financial advisor team to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Independent Agent Management
  • Source, recruit and onboard new independent financial advisors (IFAs) to distribute company products.
  • Provide ongoing support, training, and guidance to ensure agents sell effectively and comply with company standards.
  • Partner Support
  • Assist in coordinating activities with strategic partners to enhance sales outcomes.
  • Provide marketing-related support for campaigns and initiatives tied to partner programs.
  • Marketing & Sales Enablement
  • Collaborate on marketing initiatives to support client acquisition and partner engagement.
  • Share market insights and feedback from client interactions to improve sales strategies.
  • Compliance
  • Adhere to Company policies including internal and external risk, compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as documented in your annual performance objectives and as may be assigned and communicated from time to time
