Job Purpose:
The Driver will be responsible for safe driving and maintenance of the project vehicles

Duties:
• Drive the project vehicles safely on the assigned routes
• Transport goods or materials as instructed from time to time
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the Vehicles
• Reports to Office Administrator the condition of vehicles and reports when the servicing is due
• Carrying out Motor vehicle routine preventive maintenance
• Keeps and ensures safety of all the vehicle documents, spare and tool box
• Checks and reports any faulty mechanical conditions to the responsible Officer

Person Specification:
• O. level certificate with at least 3 credits A valid driving permit/licence
• Familiarity with GPS devices

• At least 3 years' experience of driving in construction projects or driving in reputable organizations
• keeping the up-to-date project vehicles logbook and preventive maintenance.
• Evidence of training in defensive driving

Contracts & Procurement Manager
Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Adheres to the H3SE rules
• Raise awareness and provide guidance in directing employees under his supervision with regard to the execution of the HSE rules, both for Company staff and Contractors without detracting from Contractor’s legal obligations.
• Assure themselves and the persons under his supervision of the safety of the workplace to avoid danger to persons, installations and avoid impact to the environment.
• Notify relevant staff on accidents, incidents and near-misses and initiate corrective actions.
2. Ensures Compliance:
• Verify that Company’s Contractual Policies and applicable laws and regulations are adhered to, especially related to ethnic and transparency.
• Verify that procurement contracts and procedures comply with the standards of the Company and the agreements with the Partners.
• Ensure the application and respect of the procedures in the tender process.
3. Organizes the entity:
• Organize, manage and control the procurements, contracts, methods, freight forwarding for the Company activities (non-operational needs) and stock management function in the subsidiary.
• Supervise the establishment of the purchase orders and the contracts.
• Supervise the development of the Project National Content programs, oversee the implementation of all National Content Regulatory & contractual obligations in the execution of project activities.
• Introduce the procurement practices and the procedures of establishment of the contractual documents, in cooperation with the technical teams, respecting the corporate system of reference and local constraints.
• Establish the local templates for the qualification of suppliers, the Call for tender and the standards contracts. Watch for the adequacy of the corporate system of reference with the local context and participate to its evolution.
• Intervene in the settlement of claims/lawsuit in relation with the judicial, Insurance, finance by proposing strategies and actions and by participating to the negotiations.
• Coordinate the relations with the suppliers through consultation with Métier Partners.
• Follow up market trends, participate to the follow-up and the evaluation of the suppliers, inform the concerned actors of the structure.
• Ensure the maintenance of the necessary level of competencies for the realization of the activities including the use of IT tools of C&P corporate. Ensure that the required discipline trainings are in place for the contracts and procurement team.
• Participate in complex and difficult negotiations, during the establishment of new contracts.
• Ensure the subsidiary’s reporting towards the head office in terms of contract and procurement activities & statutory reporting.
• Organize and act as Contracts Committee’s Secretary.
• Represent the Company, as required, regarding CP function before Authorities and Partners.
• Coordination with Project team to implement locally C&P strategy required to support the start, execution and operations of the Project.
• Give direction to all C&P entities in definition of global strategy and objectives.
• Analyse personnel requirement, training and competencies needed to run an efficient C&P organization for operational phase of the subsidiary.
• Disseminate the information on best practices to the entire team ensuring continual improvement on savings and general value addition of the C&P function to the Company’s overall objectives.
• Ensure contracts are drafted in accordance with approved model contracts reviewed periodically with other relevant departments such as Legal, Finance, Insurance and HSE.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure improvement of efficiencies.
Candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, Business or the Social Sciences with minimum 15 years’ experience 5 of which have been in a management position (operations and/or supply chain).
• Experience with oil and gas contracts and procurement with understanding of operational requirements.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies in the Supply Chain and in Operational functions will be an added advantage.
• Advanced Management, advanced human relations, problem solving and planning / organizing / coordinating / controlling
• Excellent knowledge in Legal environment, Insurance, Tax.
• Excellent Negotiation and Team management skills.

Job Purpose
The driver will drive airline motor vehicles to transport equipment, passengers, staff, and cargo. This role requires individuals with a safe driving record and can comply with all National driving laws, rules, and regulations. A driver will be expected to follow prearranged routes to destinations, or use maps and GPS to navigate routes while on company business. They will also be required to maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive airline staff and authorized passengers to various destinations as and when instructed.
• Deliver and collect documents and goods as assigned.
• Ensure that the vehicle is well maintained and kept in serviceable and sound condition.
• Promptly report all faults detected on the vehicle to the supervisor.
• Comply with national safety regulations and standards while driving.
• Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions.
• Assist in Loading and unloading baggage and cargo on vehicles.
• Act as guides while transporting airline passengers and visitors.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

• Experience driving the Electric bus is an added advantage
• Basic mechanical skills
• Demonstrated good timekeeping.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Driver shall strictly follow the traffic rules and speed limits applicable, and shall always drive in a safe, considerate and defensive manner. In case of an accident the driver shall ensure that the steps required by rules and regulations are followed, including filling in the accident report form.
• The Driver is responsible for cleaning and daily maintenance of the vehicle and shall ensure that it is in a safe running condition. He/she is also responsible for checking of oil level, water level, battery, brakes, tires, etc., and that the vehicle is at all times equipped with a first aid kit, a good spare tire and all prescribed tools and equipment. He/she will report promptly and in writing to NRC is some tools are missing.
• The driver is responsible for filling the logbook for all trips and to ensure that other drivers that may use the vehicle to do the same.
• The Driver shall ensure that all required licenses, insurance cards and vehicle permits are valid and available in the vehicle incl. accident reports. He/she must also ensure that own driving licence and other relevant driving papers are up to date.
• The Driver shall follow the instructions given in the Checklist from the NRC Drivers’ Manual.
• The Driver is responsible for performing minor repairs. If major repairs are needed these should be reported to the supervisor before making arrangements.
• The Driver shall provide logistical support to NRC Teams during field missions, trainings and workshops.
• The Driver shall assist the Logistics Assistant with receiving, storing, picking and packing goods for the NRC warehouse/storeroom.
