POSITION: Product Coordinator-Motor Import Finance Product (1 Position)

Job details:
Ensure importation of motor vehicles is in line with company and custom’s rules and regulations.

Key duties/responsibilities:
1. Review KYC Documents for customers to facilitate loan processing.
2. Review Car Specifications in line with company policies.
3. Negotiate on best prices for purchase of Motor Vehicles with export companies in various countries.
4. Appraise loans submitted by Loans Officers
5. Follow up on shipment for Motor Vehicles until they reach the Port of Kenya.
6. Forward shipment documents to the Logistics Company to facilitate clearance of Motor Vehicles.
7. Follow up on payment of taxes as advised by the Logistics Company and secure number plates from Uganda Revenue Authority.
8. Prepare final Motor Vehicle release letters.
9. Share related reports with management.

Competencies:

1. Excellent numerical and analytical skills
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Computer skills particularly Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and E-mail
4. Leadership and supervisory skills

Required Qualifications and Work Experience:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
3. Knowledgeable about URA (Uganda Revenue Authority) Operations
4. In depth knowledge about Motor Vehicle importation

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for market research, information collection, data analysis, and annual, quarterly and monthly plan according to the obtained information, and report the plan.

8. Complete the relevant sales tasks required, sum up the work flow and experience, and cultivate department members.
9. Guarantee the refund of commission from Insurance company.
10. Responsible for the production and compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reports and reports of various sales indicators, and respond to leaders' inquiries about sales dynamics at any time.

Qualification:
1. Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, Law or Related Fields
2. Work Experience: At least 3 years
