Design, manufacture, test at factory, and supply of high-quality rotor pole re-insulation materials for four (4) units (5, 6, 7, and 8) at Nalubaale Power Station, Jinja

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for the Design, manufacture, test at factory, and supply of high-quality rotor pole re-insulation materials for four (4) units (5, 6, 7, and 8) at Nalubaale Power Station, Jinja.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies and services.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Bidding method procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

5. The bidding document which has been prepared in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/- (Uganda shillings One hundred thousand only). The method of payment will be in the bank on UEGCL A/C No.9030011177319, Stanbic Bank upon which bidders shall present a bank deposit slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on Friday June 5th, 2026 at 10:00am. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 25,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Twenty five million only). Bid Securities must be valid until Wednesday December 30th, 2026. Electronic bidding will be permitted. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on Friday June 5th, 2026 at 10:30am.
