Purpose of the Job
Assist the Senior Staff in teaching and examining undergraduate students, conducting practicals and in research activities.
Person Specifications
ā¢ A Masterās degree in Midwifery and Womenās Health.
ā¢ Bachelorās degree in Nursing Science or Bachelor of Midwifery Science from a recognized/accredited institution.
ā¢ Registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council with an up-to-date Practicing License.
Duties and Responsibilities
ā¢ Assists in preparing lectures, Practicals and conducting them to undergraduate students.
ā¢ Assists in setting tests, examinations and coursework according to University Standards.
ā¢ Assists in marking tests and examinations scripts and compile results according to grading standards of the University.
ā¢ Assists in administering and invigilate tests, examinations and coursework according to University standards.
ā¢ Assists in supervising students undertaking research in line with the Universityās guidelines and regulations.
ā¢ Should show keen interest in research.

Person Specification
ā¢ A Masterās degree in Nursing or Midwifery.
ā¢ Bachelorās degree in Nursing Science or Bachelor of Midwifery Science from a recognized/accredited institution.
ā¢ A PhD is an added advantage.
ā¢ Should have at least two (2) years teaching experience.
ā¢ Have at least two (2) peer-reviewed publication in journal, conferences of Nursing/midwifery/educational significance.
